MY STORY

People often asked me where they could buy my paintings.
And so this place was born – Pureum.
A space where I can offer my work directly, without intermediaries.

I'm offering you the chance to have something real on your wall –
a painting born from silence, from the touch of light, from a moment of deep focus.
Something that carries with it human presence, landscape, and time.

I hope my paintings can make your days a little softer, quieter, or stronger – whatever it is you need right now.

The name "Pureum" is a compound of the English word "pure" and the Czech word "um," meaning reason, art, and talent. This combination evokes the idea of a pure mind capable of generalizing experiences, working with abstract concepts, and expressing itself through artistic creation. "Pureum" reflects the fusion of the purity and talent of human thought and artistic expression.

As a graduate of the Sculpture Studio, I dedicate myself to creating monumental sculptural installations with conceptual extensions into both open spaces and interiors. I find inspiration in direct contact with nature and the surroundings. The connection with nature led me, along with my family, from Brno to the village of Obora in the northern part of the South Moravian Region, near the peaks of Malý and Velký Chlum, and in the Moravian Karst with its caves, where all my works are born.

Many of them can be found in private collections throughout Europe. The gallery Klatovy Klenová in the Czech Republic has acquired the most paintings over the years.

The symbolism of genia loci is a key element, perceived not only in a temporal and spatial context but also within the narrative contexts that an individual imprints on a place through their rich imagination.

The connection of traditional approaches to paintings with an unconventional method, often pushing the boundaries of the material itself, characterizes my artistic creation. The works reflect experiences from creating for galleries, sculptures, and installations in public spaces in cities and landscapes.

In today's era, where conveying a true impression through a screen is challenging, I offer genuine artistic pieces on the Pureum website as an unrepeatable experience that truly stands out during a personal encounter.
